    Guvernele Republicii Moldova şi Republicii Bolivia, în conformitate cu principiile şi scopurile Cartei Naţiunilor Unite, precum şi cu prevederile relevante ale Convenţiei de la Viena cu privire la relaţiile diplomatice, au convenit stabilirea relaţiilor diplomatice începând cu data semnării prezentului comunicat, 8 iulie 1996.
    Guvernul Republicii Moldova şi Guvernul Republicii Bolivia au ferma convingere că stabilirea relaţiilor diplomatice între cele două ţări va contribui la ameliorarea cooperării reciproce în domenii de interes comun în beneficiul popoarelor Moldovei şi Boliviei.
    Semnat la New York la data de 8 iulie 1996, în trei exemplare autentice în limbile spaniolă, română şi engleză, textele având valoare identică.

    The Governments of the Republic of Moldova and the Republic of Bolivia, in accordance with the principles and purposes of the United Nations Charter and the relevant provisions of the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations, have decided to establish diplomatic relations effective July 8, 1996.
    The Government of the Republic of Moldova and the Government of the Republic of Bolivia express their confidence that the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries will contribute to the strengthening of mutual cooperation in the areas of common interest for the benefit of the peoples of Bolivia and Moldova.
    Done at New York, on July 8, 1996 in three equally authentic texts in the Spanish, Romanian and English languages, whereas all three copies have equal force.
